Pima County Poultry Project Update
- Remember that attendance needs to be confirmed with a picture. I can’t attend everything so I need some way to know they were truly there. If there are any questions about attendance status just ask.
- Dates:
Ownership paperwork opened January 1st and will be due by January 31st
the form is online under the Paperwork page on the website, a link was also on the email that went out on the first
Commercial ducklings should arrive the week of January 26th
Colorado River Small Stock show is January 15th to the 17th can register all the way up to the show day
February 15th Fair Registration will open and be closed midnight March 15th
different from Ownership and will be available under the Paperwork page on the website
The Arizona Stock Show is Valentine's weekend.
The Showmanship Shootout is a showmanship event up in Litchfield Park on February 21st
Earliest hatch date for Commercial Cornish Cross is February 23rd and the latest is March 9th
Poultry Field Day on February 28th. It will be like last year with stations to learn at and fun things to do. This event is the next to last chance for attendace.
March 21st is the last Clinic and the last chance at attendance
- T-shirts are still available to be ordered on the website if you missed out!
- Heritage turkeys will be allowed at fair this year. To ensure there is enough space for all exhibitors who wish to participate, each exhibitor will be limited to one Heritage turkey.
